Anyone that knows me knows also that despite not being a very dessert person I do like my ice-cream. So much so in fact, that we had an old-fashioned ice-cream trike at our wedding. If only I’d known about fifties-inspired Vintage Scoops though!
Today’s guest post is written by the wonderful Hayley of Vintage Scoops who serves up delicious ice-cream in a 50s style van. Over to Hayley to tell us a bit more!…
My beautiful lovely, funny Mum passed away aged 53 from the vile Lung Cancer 22 months ago. Out of my grieving, my Mum left behind an awesome love for life and a ‘Go for it’ attitude! So I announced to my hubby that I had bought an Ice cream van, he thought I had finally gone mad…
From my love and passion for all things vintage, kitsch and retro.I bought my girl named her ‘Betty’ after my Grandma and threw myself into making her once again beautiful !! She is painted and decorated in beautiful pale blue and cream shades of paint and has a real 50′s feel with her floral oilcloth and she is festooned in bunting!

Vintage Scoops brings together 3 wonderful ingredients, Me in my best floral frock, Farmhouse fresh made Ice cream and of course Betty the retro Ice cream van.
Vintage Scoops is a feast for both your eyes and the taste buds. As well as locally sourced Ice cream I sell retro flavoured lollies from my childhood and old fashioned sweets from the jar. My favourite being Rhubarb and Custard.
Betty adds a real twist of retro fun to your wedding or party and helps make your day truly memorable!
