Ideas for a Rockabilly Wedding

‘Rockabilly’ relates to the rock n roll music of the early 1950s, although actually it combines rock ‘n’ roll and bluegrass (hence the name – ‘rock’ and ‘hillbilly’). For the men, think Elvis – quiffed hair, flannel bowling shirts, leather jackets, converse trainers and slim fit suits. For women it was ponytails with quiffs, halterneck swing dresses, cardigans, retro prints, flat ballet pumps, leopard print accessories and red lipstick.

A rockabilly wedding really suits alternative couples who love that retro style. It’s great fun too!
