The Audrey Hepburn Updo
This style is best from shoulder length hair.
Prepare your Hair:
To create sleekness, first blow dry and then place in medium size heated rollers. Once cooled take out rollers and brush the hair with a bristle brush.
At the front part of the head, section a small fringing area (this will form a wrap later on) and clip to keep out of the way.
The bun:
Brush hair up into a firm ponytail at the crown, secure with an elastic band. Using a hair padding wrap the hair around up towards the crown and shape like a half moon, secure by gripping either< side of the padding with hair grips.
The fringe:
Remove the clip and sweep around over to the side, spray slightly to take away fly away hair and place by tucking the ends into the bun.
Finish:
Spray with a firm hold hairspray.

Where was this 2 months ago what a fantastic feature will keep this in a safe place for future reference thanks, sarah
I used these exact Audrey Hepburn images as inspiration when requesting my wedding hair! Loved the 50′s look and wore a gorgeous Candy Anthony dress! Brings back lovely memories, thank you! x

[...] My favourite is probably the Charade tiara (£40). I love the detail on it, and it is perfect for creating that Audrey Hepburn updo. [...]
[...] First up from Katie Vale Designs is this headband which has a neat row of Swarovski Crystal stones (£65). This is a striking bridal headband that is simple yet glamorous, and perfect I think for an elegant 1950s updo. [...]
I LOVE this hair style! OMG! Now I have to try to find this headband! I do something similar to this with a high bun using a doughnut sponge form. The embellishment though for this hairstyle just put it over the top. Congrats to the beautiful bride.
